This term and any corresponding data refer to typical performance in the specific tests indicated and should not be construed to imply the behavior of this or any other material under other fire conditions.
The Cal-133 test is highly dependent on chair construction and each specific construction must be tested for compliance. The above results were obtained on stack chairs with melamine polyurethane foams or HR Cal-117 foams and tub chairs with melamine polyurethane foams. Detailed test results are available upon request. Melamine polyurethane foams generally are preferred with Flame Blocker.
When used with melamine polyurethane foam or HR polyurethane foam which meets California bulletin #117 requirements. All data regarding Naugahyde 2-200 Flame Blocker fabric was obtained using specific test methods under controlled laboratory conditions to measure performance against codes and specifications. Details of test results are available upon request. While Uniroyal views the product as a significant improvement over existing technology, all organic materials will burn and generate smoke under some fire conditions.
