Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare by dismantling vehicle. Remove all panels. It is recommended to soundproof all parts of the vehicle.
Step 2: Clean and degrease all surfaces – they must be dry and clean. Material will not stick to wet or dirty surfaces, and may not last long if it does. Mineral spirits and a dry clean rag are best for this.
Step 3: Measure surfaces to be soundproofed, and pattern with cardboard or paper. It is best to place all patterns out on the Dead-on product before cutting for maximum accuracy.
Step 4: Use a box cutter knife or shears to cut the deadener material. Make sure to use gloves for safety.
Step 5: Before remove adhesive backing, place piece in the spot where it will go to ensure proper cutting and fitting. Make sure material covers it. If it fits appropriately, remove adhesive backing gradually (do not rip off quickly, or it will weaken the bond). Flatten sheet with hand when placing, and remove any air bubbles with hand.
Step 6: Use a roller to set the product. The product has been properly set when the foil is smooth and you cannot see the stamping any longer.
